Hotel Maksymilian

The location is brilliant furthest walk to places of interest in Krakow was about 2 miles away and we only used a taxi from Airport and to the Krakow shooting school we visited while here. Both journeys very cheap compared to England. There are lively restaurants, supermarkets, take aways and cake shops near by and a beautiful little park. I recommend Bar Smak (traditional Polish) and Dobre Precel for the most amazing savoury or sweet pretzels and Donuts Our room at the hotel was brilliant as travelling with a teenager who isn't old enough for own room yet but needs privacy and she got a large curtained off area in our room which was really good for her , she was very happy with it. The Breakfast is perfect for getting a healthy, filling start to a day exploring. Plenty of choices hot and cold. Some days there is a pizza restaurant open in the hotel courtyard and it has great reviews on trip advisor unfortunately our plans meant we didnt get to try it but managed a coffee with them and is a pretty place to sit. I would recommend this hotel.

Everything. Spotless clean and friendly staff. Very responsive, too. Nice big bedroom with high ceiling. The bedroom was warm when it was freezing cold outside. I really enjoyed having a shower - plenty of water with really good pressure which genuinely helped me relax and decompress from a very stressful day. Really good experience overall despite the circumstances (cancelled flights that made us stay in Krakow)

Wonderful hotel and good value for money. Great location for all attractions, main square was 15-20mins easy stroll. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood which felt safe at night for a solo female traveller. All the staff I met were friendly, courteous and helpful (apologies for not remembering names). The room was clean and comfortable with ample space for 1 person and all amenities supplied. Good variety of choice for breakfast and I was also provided a packed lunch in lieu of breakfast due to a day trip the receptionist organised - very much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if I ever return to Krakow.

Centrally located but very quiet as our rooms were at the back of the building. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
